Deep Sea Fishing

Cozumel Island and its surrounding waters teem with more than 230 species of fish. Considered to be one of the world's top locations for trolling, deep-sea fishing, and bottom fishing, Cozumel attracts anglers around the world for deep-sea fishing for barracuda, tuna and wahoo, and bottom fishing for grouper, yellow fish and snapper. May-July is the peak fishing season with a world class bill-fish competition in May/June. All of our recommended charter operations adhere to the Cozumel Marine Park Conservation standards, including catch and release for all billfish.Albatros Charters

Cozumel Museum

The Cozumel Museum is located right on the waterfront at Calle 6. It's been voted one of the top 5 museums of the Caribbean. They have four permanent exhibit halls, a good place to get a grasp of the islands history. They host a series of changing shows, featuring local artists. The museum also has a wonderful cafe located upstairs and is a fantastic place to have breakfast, with a ocen view. Open daily from 10 am - 6 pm.

Parque Punta Sur

Parque Punta Sur is located in the southern-most tip of Cozumel, this national wildlife preserve features rugged ironshore beaches, a lighthouse, a nautical museum and Columbia Lagoon. At this wildlife preserve you'll be able to experience mangroves, nesting flamingos, crocodiles and even a mayan ruin. Due to the size of the park, double decker trolley cars provide transportation from one point of interest to another. Beer, sodas and snacks are available for sale inside the park, and many of the organized tours provide lunch at the lagoon site.
