The average daily air temperature on Cozumel is 80 degrees. In July and August, the highs range from the upper 80's to the low 90's. In December and January, the daytime temperatures average in the 70's. During the winter months (September-December) Cozumel experiences cold fronts that may create windy, cloudy and cooler weather. Afternoon thunderstorms are common, usually lasting for an hour. Water temperatures range from 76 degrees-83 degrees throughout the year.
